ABOUT ME

Well, I've been to Rajasthan, Gujarat, MP, Bangalore, Chennai, a few northern states like UP, HP, Sikkim, Nepal (indepennt state) and recently, West Bengal. These magnetic places got me in interested in ornithology, wildlife, nature and travelling....

For me travelling is more about meeting new people and making friends from new and old places of the world. I earn enough to afford my own boarding in any given place/route, but to get a chance to meet new people, is exciting. And if they share any one of my interests, then that's gold!

As many of the other more exprncd mmbrs in this commnty, I share the same values and wud not like to be taken advantage of either.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just met the Ladies meetup on 14 May at the Coast organised by Gypsy, on 19 May09 at Koyla organised by Sanu and the 3 June 09 Screening Room organised by Cyrus, Shailesh Andrade et all. Had a great time meeting a few members.

Slacklined with A'bad (Gujarat, India) CSers and had a great time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No couching exprce yet. I am sure to be a host some day, but as of now, I'm an eager-beaver traveller.

Interests

I am getting seriously interested in ornithology (Bird-Watching or BW)and other fauna. I try to make it a point to dig deeper into the local culture & essence. The best way is to go BW, mammal watching or safaris, trying local cuisines, trace the local map, speaking to locals and listening to local music. Other than that, I love movies and western/Indian music.

Like movies by Kurusawa. Started reading 'White Tiger' by Arvind Adiga.I like reading about philosophy, spirituality etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee Jumping is the most amazing thing that I have done. Other interesting experiences are in the field of bird-watching.
