My point of view on money minting corporates: We all will die why are you stocking so much money for? I realized this after enrolling in my current PhD program and feeling the way money flows from institutions to corporate. Hence, I am finding the verification on courchsurfing is a bit expensive.

Although, I support the cause and community, my knowledge of earning through online ads (which couchsurfing has in abundance) say that they actually don't need that much costs. Consequently, I wish they could reduce the costs especially for borderline poor (barely earning/surviving students like me) who wish to travel .
