ABOUT ME

I am going to be a great comedian. That adventure begins on ironically enough, Labor Day, 2012. Going to the Big Apple!

As your CouchSurfer I will provide you with the most beneficial and unique experience. I am a Wise Man. I know people. Psychology and Sociology. Relationships and Love. Imagine Sigmund Freud and Bob Marley's love child is chilling at your place for 24 hours. Think of all you could learn.

PHILOSOPHY

I've never been able to answer this question well until now, but here goes:

I believe:

Most people are the same, and everyone is different.

If you're friendly, people will be friendly. If you like people, they will like you.

There is nothing wrong with making a lot of money. It shows that you're successful. There are great men, and great men either make a lot of money, or are counted on by many people, or both. Making money doesn't make you happy, and it doesn't mean you're more happy than someone with less money. But it does allow you to do whatever you want, and doing whatever you want is something that very few people do. It seems obvious to do whatever you want, especially in the long term. If you are not 100% satisfied with your life right now its it's because you're not doing what you want to be doing right now, whether that's reading this profile or whatever you're doing in life.

Money helps you achieve your lifelong goal of being happy and doing what you want, both in the long and short run.

People are unhappy because they're not doing what they want. They don't like their wife, or their job, or their whole life. And not only do they not like it, they're angry because they say they didn't choose it. But they did. That's why they're angry.

You're never angry with yourself for very long when you know you chose a path that you want.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a handy man. If you need something fixed in your place, it'll be good I stopped by. I am also a very creative cook and would be happy to astound you with first time creation cuisine. If you need a wingman for a night on the town, that is my best forte of all. I'll have whatever gaggle of girls at our table lickity split.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent a month CouchSurfing in Holland, Belgium and France while riding my bike from Rotterdam to Paris. No hostels, only CouchSurfing. I couldn't have afforded the trip, and I certainly wouldn't have had as much fun without it.

Wow. That's a wopper of a question. Well, I like anything new, and good. Or old and good that I've never heard of. My favorite movies. Jesus that's impossible. I hate lists, they're stupid. I like a lot of shit, I don't want to make a top 10 anything. But I'll give you one each, just to give you an idea:

Movies:

The Gumball Rally: Imagine Cannonball Run, or another cross country racing movie, but good, with fucking awesome cars. I've watched this, no exaggeration, at least 100 times. And I'd say 200 but I want to be safe. I used to watch it with my dad when I was little. It was our favorite movie to watch together. And I get to see and hear my favorite car, a red 1971 Ferrari Daytona Spyder, with the Ferrari 5-spoke wheel, not the Borranis.

Music:

Reckless Kelly. This is the worst because its impossible to describe music. But think Tom Petty + Texas + rock stars. They're country, rock and punk, mostly the first two, and they're fucking amazing live, in a 100 year old wooden dance hall in Texas.

Books:

The Count of Monte Cristo:

I say this because its the best book I've ever read. And I say its the best book I've ever read because its 1200 pages, small font, and the first time I read it I read it in two weeks. Then a year later I read it again, again in two weeks. And just writing about it here makes me want to download it and read it again, now. I think I actually will.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've lived in four countries for more than two months, and I hope that number keeps going up indefinitely. So again, picking one is not easy but:

The hike to Angel's Landing in Zion National Park. It isn't that hard, but I didn't know that at the time. It is the most amazing summit view I've seen.
