I was born and raised in Mexico, and although, now days, English is my predominantly used language I absolutely love regional Mexican music. I listen to Norteñas, Banda, Reggaeton, Bachata, Hip-hop, Pop... it kind of just depends on the mood I'm in.
My favorite movie is Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron; Meet Joe Black, Karate Kid, and Back to the Future are up there as well. The idea of time travel is fascinating to me, so I've been watching more sci-fi movies lately.
The Alchemist and Veronika Decides to Die by Paulo Coelho have a special place in my heart, Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom, Rayuela by Julio Cortázar, El laberinto de la soledad by Octavio Paz...there are so many good books out there I could go on forever!
