Hey everybody, We are Ramona (28) and Maria (28). We are an inhabitants of the sweet town Magdeburg in central Germany. Maria and I are identical twins and together we travel around the world! ;) After our study "Social Science" we quitted our job, quitted our flat and quitted our responsibilities. Since May 2018 we have started our awesome trip with hichhicking through Belgium, France, Great Britain and Irland. After that one we travelled through Canada and the USA by car. Also we were in some Asia country until March. Out last Trip is the Camino de Santiago since April 19.

The idea of our journey is to be free, spontaneous and to meet a lot of different people from different countries. We want to find the spirit of life and a good way to live the life. Till today we got so much of kindness from people, that we're glad to give something back. Every encounter should be a gift for our life and also we hope that we are a gift for everybody who meet us :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it is a community about people like myself. You meet people they want to share travel and life experiences. We are a community who support each other. Couchsurfing for me is a possibility to meet open minded people they appreciate to travel, to learn about new cultures and ideas.

Music: I love music from the 80th and 90th because I was growing up with that (examples: Michael Jackson, Queen, Phil Collins, Bon Jovi, Beatles, The Kelly Family, AHA, Abba)

Book: one of my favorite books are from J.K. Rowlings "Harry Potter". The tale of Harry Potter gives a lot of answers about friendship, the choice about good and worst things, as well as about what it's like to grow up and make decisions for your life

Movies: drama, comedy, Thriller

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my most amazing experience have been in UK and Irland, because that was my first time I have started a bigger journey with hitchhiking and hike. I have met a lot of special people who I never forget. In my journey I have had spontaneous encounter they spend time with me and my twin. The best was we camped over 90 percent wild. It is an amazing thing if you can camp everywhere.
