About Me

ABOUT ME

Easily excited, language geek, tv addicted, curious, can be a bit serious sometimes, a vegetarian, I like Zumba/working out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am hoping to visit some more places in the UK through couchsurfing and possible Sweden!

I am currently living in Leiden, and am open to join meetings or events to meet new people here :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't couchsurfed yet!

Interests

I love to cook and bake, I even have my own blog (http://ramonia.tumblr.com). I am specializing in Medieval literature, doing a research MA in Groningen right now but living/doing an internship in Leiden. I am a huge tv-addict, I watch anything and everything, from Midsomer Murders to Fringe; I am a huge fan of British TV! I also watch loads of movies. I love receiving "real" mail with nice stamps and a handwritten note. Oh and I am crazy about Eurovision! I watch the Swedish and Dutch qualifying rounds every year and I make a whole event out of the final :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Too much to name really, a couple of things that I like atm:
Movies: Back to the Future trilogy & Beverly Hills Cop are the best.
Music: Country, singer/songwriter, rock, folk
Books: I read a lot for my studies so I like reading lighter books in my spare time, like Dan Brown.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I loved being in Rome, being among so much culture and at the same time having a lot of fun with my friends from high school (since it was a high school trip). The whole thing was a great experience.

Another great experience was living in Sweden for 5 months. I studied in Lund with an Erasmus scholarship and can honestly say I made friends for life there!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm quite good at the languages mentioned in the language section so I'm always happy to help with those :)
