ABOUT ME

I travel lots, surf when I can, catch fish when I am in luck, probably drink too much, definitely think too much, and still manage to make irrational choices. I like the outdoors and the Autumn, but in Northland the seasons are not so pronounced. I'm happiest on the road or at home with friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have had many wonderful people through our door from various walks of life. I enjoy the guests the most who interact and just make my place their place. Am now doing my first surfing while on cycling trip across Central Asia.... So look out!

Interests

Taking it easy!!!! I like getting up to shanangins, kicking back in our Mother nature, making, using and breaking things, riding, trees, forests, timber and building all sorts of shit. Immersing myself in other cultures, places, environments and scaring myself in stupid situations.

I'm a bit of a travel book reader. I like to hear about other peoples missions. Currently into learning more about the 'stans', Iran and some of those less frequented spots.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went for 27 days without a shower! I have been lucky enough to see some special parts of this planet. Free wheeling 2000m in one hit down the Himalaya's, rode round Iceland, ate cake in 25 different countries.
