I moved to the U.S. two years ago, as part of an exchange program to be an au pair and living with a host family. I've lived in the DC area, NYC area and now I am a currently living and being full time student in Philadelphia.

Because I've heard it is a great way to explore the really "good local spots" when you are visiting a new place... And if you are lucky enough, getting the chance to become friends with people that host you.

I love traveling and exploring new places, outdoor activities, spending time with friends, meet new people, reading, running, taking pictures, etc.

I would say that had left my comfort zone and moving to another country is by far one of the things that I can be proud the most. Taking care of special needs kids it is another one.
