About Me

I’m endlessly curious about life, people, belief systems, and how different cultures shape the way we feel and connect.
Traveling isn’t just what I do – it’s who I am. It’s how I learn, transform, and stay close to my raw self.
I don’t travel to arrive, I travel to move – to feel the world shift under my feet and within me.
The journey itself is my destination.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What brings me to Couchsurfing is my deep curiosity about people — their cultures, backgrounds, and stories.
Meeting others from different civilizations is, to me, the most authentic way to exchange cultures — not through books or tours, but through laughter, conversations, and shared silence.
There’s no better way to truly understand a place than by meeting its locals, listening to their stories, and sharing everyday life with them.
I’m here to make real human connections, to learn, and to offer a space of trust, warmth, and mutual respect.
For me, traveling is not about ticking places off a list — it’s about learning, growing, and understanding.
It’s about collecting memories, not pictures — moments that stay in the heart, not just in the camera.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I’ve done was hiking to Poon Hill in the Himalayas — a five-day journey that challenged me in every way. Though the hike was long and exhausting, and being asthmatic made it even harder, I pushed my body beyond its limits… and I did it. I enjoyed every moment, even the ones filled with sweat and silence.
Sometimes, I walked barefoot, feeling the earth under me — reconnecting with life, away from screens and noise. I met locals who do this trek daily, not for adventure, but for work — carrying the bags of tourists with quiet strength. I felt deep empathy, and it reminded me of the beauty and resilience in simple lives. That journey wasn’t just about reaching the top — it was about going back to something real inside me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Share

I’m not sure what exactly I can “offer” — but I know I’ll share my time, my energy, my stories, my random questions, my camera, my music, my long walks, and the joy of doing silly things just because they feel right in the moment.
If we hike, I’ll stop every five minutes to take a photo or stare at a tree.
If we talk, I’ll listen deeply and speak honestly.
I share presence more than things — and maybe that’s what matters most.

Learn

I want to learn more about people — their stories, their cultures, their everyday lives.
Not just what they do, but how they feel, how they see the world, what moves them.
I believe that every time we meet someone new, we get to meet a new part of ourselves too.
Learning, for me, isn’t about facts — it’s about experience, connection, and seeing life through different eyes.
