ABOUT ME

I am a person who has great interests in his environment. This include's the nature as well as current issues in politics and economics. Actually it is more the interaction between these parts. I think nobody has to be an old witch who sits in front of her dusty glass sphere to predict the future of mankind in some parts. It is just like a huge jigsaw and most the people are not interested in a single piece of it. But this is my point of view.
Beside of these this ideas I realy love to be outside to experience the nature. Eleven years ago on a backpack-trip across New Zealand I got lucky a Maori showed "Tane Mahuta" - Godfather of the Forest to me. A creature which at least lives for 1200 years on earth, inconceivable. Just the comparison between my statisticly predicted lifetime and the epoch Tane Mahuta already spend makes me shiver. Experiences like this influenced my thinking and giude me to my own view of poits.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My ex flatmate who is my ex girlfriend (Jenny Gruenewald) and who is my wife now we are hosted some really interesting persons and we are glad we have met them.

Interests

My interests depend on the mood but principle it is a mixure of exciting and thrilling things as well as relaxed activities. I love it to cycle up and down hills with my hard tail bicycle especially down hill. I like it to be outside spending time in the forest with hiking or mushroom picking.
On the other hand I like to do some Origami or read a interesting book and chess!
In a zoo I am able to sit the hole day infront of human-ape compound and watch them. It is so fascinating.
My passion is cooking, everything with meet, fish or just vegetarian.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The two most amazing things I have seen Tane Mahuta and a humpback whale in New Zealand.

To bike on a unknown dirt road with almost 70km per hour! I love it!

When we were on Hawaii 4 years ago we saw a man with to artificial legs. One with a artificial knee too and the second was artificial below the knee. And he was walking hand in hand with his wife across the parking lot like everybody else without any cruches.

Future already started!
