About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Something cool

ABOUT ME

Laid back but adventurous. Love to travel and meet cool people and see what it's like to be in another person's shoes for a little while.

PHILOSOPHY

Personal philosophy in a box? Well, humanism then. How about this: If you stay at my place or I stay at yours let's be friendly and have a great time. And then personal philosophy might come up naturally...if it is meant to be discussed...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My stupid room mates won't let me host any CSers! They think that all strangers are potential serial killers you can't turn your back on...how sad is that? I've got to get my own place.

Well, I got my own place now...I'm living in France at the moment. But unfortunately my new pad is too small even for me to live in....but I'll start hosting people someday hopefully!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've officially and unofficially couchsurfed around Europe and the States. And have actually made some real friends along the way.

Interests

I love intelligent discussion of just about any kind with people who are sincere. I love art of all kinds very much, but I have no artistic talent...I make up for it with appreciation. Big surprise, I'm into lots of stuff...

Music, Movies, and Books

I can hang with pretty much anything and prolly enjoy talking about popular art and culture more than I should. When it comes to movies, I like the good ones. Same goes for books. Musically I pretty much live in the 90s but really dig some stuff from all decades and genres. If you've got a strong opinion on any of the following then there's definitely at least some shit we can vibe on: Roots, Reading Rainbow, Star Trek, Levar Burton, Reason with a big R, the right to pursue and the pursuit of happiness, South Park, Workaholics, the philosophical profundity of the unappreciated films The Fountain and Vanilla Sky, Rachel Weisz, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, early Incubus, Third Eye Blind's first record(if you know, you know), Alexisonfire, Tool, APC, NIN, MM, Slipknot's first, Texas is the Reason, Elliot, Deftones, Gin Blossoms, Orgy, Sacred Spirit, The Cure, Bat for Lashes, Lana Del Rey, Catherine Wheel, The Verve, Copper, Curve, Oasis, STP, Bush, Cranberries, only old Green Day, White Ring, Crystal Castles, Sade, Erykah, all 90s hiphop especially Fugees, Outkast, Mobb Deep, Bone Thugs, Pharcyde. 50s and 60s rock and pop is flawless, big shout out to the Beatles and everything Motown and especially Stevie. And big ups to the shitty country music I grew up on, can't deny where you come from.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dude, lots of cool things. Myanmar after the Saphron Revolution was definitely the coolest. Um....I almost died alone on a mountain in Japan while backpacking. That was pretty amazing, gotta thank kamisama for getting me out of that one.

Teach, Learn, Share

It really bothers me that I don't have something cool to offer the people who host me. I need to learn how to cook at least one amazing dish or something. I guess I can show you a few things on guitar if you have one. Or I can speak a little Japanese or French if you want to practice. Really need to learn how to cook something, though....

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Mexico, Myanmar, Netherlands, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Japan, United States
