ABOUT ME

I enjoy the diversity of people. I'm an active introvert. I think and care deeply. I'm also a traveler, a wanderer. I have less baggage - physically and emotionally. I live simply, frugally, and gratefully.

PHILOSOPHY

I am spiritual but not religious. I have been Christian, Buddhist, Bahai. I have worshiped with Jews, Muslims, Southern Baptists, and Zunis. I have a deep connection to Spirit inside, but don't feel any religion or philosophy needs to be pushed, shared, or discussed.

Having said that, I love discussing the mysteries of life.

We share DNA with all life, yet every other creature is perfectly suited to its' environment but us. In nature the males display but in humans the females display. Baring teeth in nature is aggression, while humans smile to show the opposite. Evolution perfectly explains adaptation, but not new species.

Maybe Iris DeMent's "Let the Mystery Be" has it right.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I show up. I clean up after myself (and others). I alternate between socializing and computer work. Truthfully, I can spend too much time behind a screen. On the other side, I can help you with websites, technology, apps, and stuff.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted many friends and friends of friends on my couches. We used to have a guest book for our couch. These were all positive experiences. I have happily surfed on many friends' couches. That was before CouchSurfing.com.

I love learning, being, and growing. I am an Astrologer, an EFT practitioner, dream interpreter, Tarot reader, and intuitive. I used to be a professional photographer. I like working with WordPress and have built many websites. I have contributed to many websites for non-profit organizations. I love thinking, I love teaching, and I love learning. My latest project is a secret but I can tell you if you ask.

I don't know any Tibetan, but I successfully translated for Chakdud Tulku Rinpoche at his request. He spoke and the concepts entered my head. I knew what he meant.
