Présentation
À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
Figure out how to get meat pies on the take-away menus of more Canadian food vendors. Steak and Guinness...mmmm...
ABOUT ME
5'10, bright blue eyes, dirty blonde hair, athletic build. Enjoys going to the theatre, Blue Jays games on Sundays, and long walks through Woodbine Beaches park (copied from my eHarmony profile*)
Slightly less superficial version: I'm a pretty easy going guy, who has a tendency to confuse brilliant people - both online and in person - with streaks of playful sarcasm.
*Not actually. But it would be something along these lines, although the body type description may be a bit self indulgent...
PHILOSOPHY
I'm what may may call a spiritual sojourner, with a significant Christian bent. Feelings? Constantly repressed, still learning what it means to be in touch with them. Thoughts? Plenty of them; let's grab a pint sometime.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I look forward to affirming the culture-changing efforts of my hosts in the near future, and anticipate accommodating many on my own couch at a point not much farther along the line. More tangibly, I will make efforts to blog about successful - and probably, occasionally challenging - CS experiences.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Having stayed/lived in rooming houses / homestays / etc at various points over the past 10 or so years, I think it's safe to say I've taken to spurning the conventional hospitality industry. i.e. I'm ready to hop in bed with CouchSurfing for the long run!
Centres d'intérêt
I grew up - and enjoy spending time - in the country, although the last few years in Toronto have revealed that I'm a city guy at heart. I like talking politics (despite constant iteration that I hate politics) and drinking good red wine (despite constant realizations that I really have no idea what good red wine is). I come from a supportive family, have great friends, and am starting to learn what it means to not grow quickly tired of what I have, where I am, and who I'm with.
