PHILOSOPHY

I try to be carefree, but work gets in the way. I love to travel to places off the beaten track and sit and talk to strangers in a small town pub. Its better to be a big fish in a small pond. I like to re-use old stuff as much as possible and I hate plastic bags!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Started surfing in the spring of 2008 during a European backpacking trip. I have only been able to host people once because of work and living arrangements, but CS is a great way to meet people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I appreciate people travelling to experience a culture first hand as opposed to staying in hostels or hotels. I do not respect people try to free load off others and expect 5 star service for nothing. When I travel I always have a backup plan in case CS will not work.
