My name is Rani, I was born in Libya where I get to learn a bit about the life and culture there but I am a Palestinian from Gaza Strip, moved to Canada in the mid of 2016 through a bike trip from New York City to Niagara Falls then to Montreal, lived most of my life in Gaza Strip, Palestine. This is a place where media coverage are mostly about wars, blockade and bombs happening. The difficult circumstances I lived through have taught me a lot.
I am honored to be a Palestinian. I got a chance to study my Master degree in Malaysia, where I got to know Couchsurfing. I met new people, cultures, religions and knew that I can travel. I lived there for almost 2 years and a half. I worked as a journalist in Gaza Strip before studying then I worked as an interpreter for tourists in Malaysia, tour guide, then I decided to go back to Gaza. I started to work as a communication researcher, then I lecture at universities in Gaza, social media trainer, and beside that I was working as a program director for non profit organization where it help Palestinian who suffer from war, poverty and all the difficult circumstances. My dream is to travel to Many countries as I can then wrote a book about how I experienced the traveling as a Palestinian :) and one day to stand at TEDx platform :) dreams are growing with us :) I love traveling and talking and biking. I hope I will do much more of both in the future. I am always in for a nice conversation and a laugh. hoping to make and meet new friends when I visit a new place or a country . I am easy going and friendly . : ) when I started to use CS because I want travel, and see new places, cultures, languages, and people.
