ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Ranka!
I'm just spending some time in lovely New Zealand, being an Au Pair. I'm originally from Germany and want to see a bit of the world before i start studying at University. I love travelling a lot, discovering new places, meeting amazing people.
I would discribe myself as curious,creative, friendly, sociable and positively-minded :).

I love the outdoors, hiking, making new friends and meeting old ones far from home.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

First I want to travel for a while and occupy other people's couches for a few nights.
Back home I would be more than happy to share my home with you ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was travelling New Zealand I stayed with a couple of hosts I met through Couchsurfing. Overall a lovely experience. I also met up with some people who showed me around wich was super helpful in getting to know the town I was staying in.
All of the hosts have been so welcoming and willing to share their home, their food and their time with me. I was always happy to return the hospitality by cooking for them or offering help around the house

Centres d'intérêt

I love arts and music, spending time with friends, trying out new stuff, travelling.
I am part of a scoutsgroup in Germany where i was working with children, went hiking and camping (sleeping under stars is one of my favourites!) and having good conversations.
I also enjoy swimming, yoga and roller-blading in my freetime, reading, being creative, going to youthgroup, meeting up with other christians and getting postcards from many different places.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I have seen so many amazing things in my short life, I almost don't know where to start. What I experienced is, that there are hundreds of amazing countries worth to travel, thousands of breathtaking places worth to go, millions of awesome things to do, billions of various people worth to meet - and you don't have to go far away to start exploring (but sometimes that't nice though ;)).

I want to learn about you. What matters to you. How do you run things? Tell me about your native language, your family, your favourite food/music/place on earth.
In return I could teach you some German words, show you how to bake fantastic pancakes, sing you my favourite song, draw something for you, send you a postcard from the next place I go to or listen to your story.
