We are an Afro-Colombian-German-Sri-Lankan and we have a small daughter. Ashanti is a pasionate dancer and Ranjin is working on water and development projects. We've moved around quite a bit lately but we are now settling in Frankfurt for a while. We are in a time of transition where we move to the next phase in life while enjoying every moment of it.

Art, the environment, music and dance are some of the things important to us. And we love the aquatic ecosystem, from mangroove forests to rivers and the oceans... wherever there is water we feel home.

We've both been doing volunteer and social work also due to the fact that Ashanti's mum is a very engaged Colombian activist that runs a small grass-rots organization to help victims of Colombia's internal conflict among other things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to give surfers the chance to experience our place through our eyes and to connect, share, give and receive from and with them. When we travel we use CS to really get to know a place better and most of all to meet new interesting people and make new friends.

We Started to use CS while traveling in South America and over there the CS community is really active. It was always an enrichment of our travels and we hade grate moments.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Could teach some dancing, from contemporary, to salsa to ballet back to hip-hop etc. Also might show you how to make drinkable water from dirty water in case you are lost somewhere.
