Hello fellow travelers. I'm Ranyeri (as you can probably see by that big name up there).

I was originally born in Brazil and moved to Toronto around four years ago to pursue film, since storytelling is my life's passion. I love travelling and getting to know new cultures and places by interacting with locals and forming lasting friendships.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm always travelling when I get the chance, and what I like most when visiting a new place is meeting people there and sharing stories. Due to that, one of my close friends recommended that I try couch-surfing, as it seems to fit my personality, so here I am.

Books: Millennium trilogy, Harry Potter, Classic Literature (Frankenstein, Jane Austen), biographies, The Witcher, The Hobbit, The Hitchhiker's Guide, more

Movies: It's easier if I say the directors: David Fincher, Alfred Hitchcock, Quentin Tarantino, Edgar Wright, Stanley Kubrick. Oh, and I just love horror movies and sci-fi.

Shows: Not really a show person, however, some would be: House of Cards, Scrubs, Community,, The Office, American Horror Story

Music: Oh boy... Soo many different types. Any rock 60s-90s, blues, underground European artists (Anneke van Giersbergen, Aurora, for instance). Ask me about it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left everything and moved to Canada for college by myself when I was 19.

I've visited a few countries and I consider myself lucky for having friends from many different places, each one contributing to build who I am today. I love sharing the experiences I had and who I had it with.
