Overview
About Me
Hi my name is Raphael, I am from Quebec, Canada. I currently taking a year off from school for travelling with my backpack and with my tennis rackets all over South America. I am chasing my childhood dream that is to be a profesional tennis player. I want to travel as much as possible before starting Universty next year. I do not know in what I'll be studying but I think I'm heading forward sociology, anthropology, psychology or my favourite of the moment languages. (to be decided:))
Morever, I arrived in South America, the 24th of may, with my school for an one month exchange in Bolivia. I had the chance during my exchange to live with a beautiful family that lived in the department of La Paz, it was an unforgettable intercultural experience. We learn so much from each other, now I can say that I found my second family. At the same time couchsurfing allow myself to save money for my trip and for my tennis. But what I desire most is too meet nice people and share with them.
If you're looking for a tennis coach, I'm your guy! I consider myself like a good sportsman (average in all sports). If you want to start training for your own different reasons, I'll be glad to join you :) Plus, I will love to practice different languages with my host,
I'm looking forward to meet you,
Rafa

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite artist is by far Bob Marley. The movie that will always make me cry in the end is Forrest Gump. Finally, my favourite book is The journey to Ixtlan from Carlos Castaneda. To be honest, I didn't finish the book but I'm trying to find it in all the libraries that I encountered in South America. When I'll find it, I'll finish it😂 But normally I'm not a big reader, I'm working to change that!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One day when with my brother we went at the Banquise, a famous restaurant in Montreal that are reputed for his poutine (national dish). And I decided to eat two T-Rex entirely. That's a lot!! Go find by yourself how a T-Rex looks like😉
