CURRENT MISSION
Working and finishing my master in Psychology next too. I want to be able to make my work just with pen & paper so I'll be able to work and travel as easy as possible.
ABOUT ME
Hey, I'm Raphael. I grew up in a small German village and for 4 years I live in the colorful city of Rotterdam. I'm currently finishing my studies in Psychology. Next, to I work in as an organizational Psychologist in a Marketing company without any rules or structures. Letting the employees decide what they can do best to make their job. Besides that, I am into music a lot. I listen to all kind of music, the more diverse the better. I also make music myself, play the bass and produces some beats on my laptop. I love independence, being able to do whatever you like and travel where ever you like are two essentials!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently, I'm mostly surfing but I also hosted a few times.
I'm just amazed by this Couchsurfing idea. It is just an amazing way to meet people from everywhere and building up this nice little network spread over the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I did Couchsurfing in Rotterdam before I started my studies here. thanks to CouchSurfing I meet many great people and I still am friends with a lot of them.

兴趣

I am a lot into music but also in everything creative. Discussing about random things for hours is something I can get lost in quit easily.
Also, I'm going out regularly to art events, Dj-sets, and concerts.
And due to my studies, I'm of course interested in Psychology and how you can use it in Society. It's such a broad topic so you don't get bored of it.
I like to meet new people and places, so travel is one of my passions too.
Last year I tried out surfing and immediately loved the sport. I am really a beginner but want to learn it whenever I have the possibility to do it.

Music:
I'm producing music as a hobby for a few years. So I listen to a lot of different music.
Especially all kind of electronic music, experimental, techno, hip hop/rap, classic, jazz, rock ...
Artist are forexample Bonobo, Radiohead, Nirvana, Moderat, Muse, Nicolas Jaar, Placebo, Nils Frahm + uncountable DJs and producers from Techno + Electronic music.
Films:
Lately, I really enjoyed Interstellar. Also I like documentaries and independent movies
Some classics are all movies from Quentin Tarantino, Rain Man, Hannibal - there are way too many good movies.
Favorite book:
0 - 1, from Peter Thiel

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Left my hometown without a real plan and about 500 Euros. Now I build up my life in Rotterdam and love living here

Teach: many things related to Psychology & Music. I once gave a friend a driving license because he bought his driving license in Ukraine but couldn't drive ... So if you need driving lessons don't hesitate to ask
