ABOUT ME

Hi ! I'm Raphaël and I'm student in engineering.
I travelled a lot since my childhood with my parents, so I wanna keep on travelling the world by myself.
I love having fun and partying, drinking belgian beer, dancing on minimal techno, dub, or going to a rock concert.
I'm fond of music : I play classical piano for approximately 12 years and electric guitar for 5 years. I bought a melodica few months ago, so I can play the Augustus Pablo's stuff ! I love a lot of kind of music, there is no border.
I spent 4 months in Montreal during 2013 winter, that was amazing ! Quebec is such a great region.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For my first long trip outside Europe, I have thought there is no better way to meet people than Couch Surfing. Now I just want to keep on being active on CS. As soon as I am able to host, I'd do it as much as possible !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Toronto, Montréal and Québec during my first trip in Canada, then one more time in Québec, in Sherbrooke and Ottawa, always for the best !
I surfed once in New York and twice in Mauritius Island.
I hosted once, and it's great too !

Interests

I'm intersted in music (listenning to and composing), in art in general.
I love subdiving, being in the underwater world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : blues (especially from the 40's and 50's), rock from the 60's and 70's (progressive or psychedelia), some extreme metal, stoner and doom metal, roots dub and reggae, and classical music (from baroque to concrete).
Movies : Monty Python's movies, and all movies that are delirious, but also Lynch or Kubrick for example.
I don't know if we can categorize the Cremaster cycle as movies, but I love it anyway.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met two whales under the water in French Polynesia, that was really impressive !
