Hi, I’m Raquel, I’m original from Barcelona, Spain. I did 6 months of student exchange (ERASMUS) in France, there I met incredible people from different countries with whom I lived many funny stories and who awoke my passion for traveling. I am currently doing the master's degree in chemical engineering in Barcelona.

I am a dreamer who likes to travel, meet new people from different places and make friends. I usually like to get away from tourist sites, organized visits or tours I think they don't teach you the reality of the site, and spontaneous things use to be the best. I considere that I’m social person, easygoing, adventuress and enthusiastic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Basically in Erasmus I learned that the best thing about travel is not just the place. The good things is to learn, meet people from other places and create new stories.
In addition many international friends of Erasmus made CS and came back very happy and with very funny stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to read stuffs about new places (their traditios, their current situarion, etc) and sciences.
I love music, the type of music I lisen depend on the moment and the place.
About film I like to go to the cinema but I prefer to watch series (Games of thrones, Vikings, Stranger things, Narcos, etc)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once me and my friends we decided to climb a mountain near the French city Annacy, to watch the sunset from the top of it, to be able to find the way back during the night we left beers on the way. At the end we found all the beers and the way back to home, but it was fucking hard because we were drunk, we had only one light and it was really scary. Anyway, the sunset was so beautiful there so it was worth it! Hahah

I can teach some words in Spanish or Catalan, some typical dishes of my home, traditions of my country that are curious. I am also interested in learning the basics of any other languages.
