We are Raquel and Rubén, a couple of travellers. Few months ago we left our lives in London and grab our backpacks to discover Latin America and Asia.

Rubén is a chef and Raquel used to work for a tour operator and both of us love travelling and enjoying a good dish of local food. We speak English and Spanish and the thing we love the most about travelling is meeting people from all over the world (something we already discovered in London).

So far we have visited Cuba, Colombia, Mexico, Guatemala, Thailand and Myanmar with a quick stop in New York. We are now in India! Before this trip (which will hopefully last for many more months) we have also visited other places in Europe, Africa, Asia and America, together and independently.

Somos Raquel y Rubén y viajamos en pareja. Hace unos meses dejamos nuestras vidas en Londres y agarramos las mochilas para conocer América Latina y Asia.
Rubén es cocinero y Raquel trabajaba para un tour operador y a los dos nos apasiona viajar y disfrutar de un buen plato de comida. Hablamos español e inglés y lo que más nos gusta de viajar es conocer gente de todos los rincones del mundo (algo que ya descubrimos en Londres).

Hasta el momento hemos visitado Cuba, Colombia, México, Guatemala, Myanmar y Tailandia con una breve parada en Nueva York entre América y Asia. Ahora viajamos a India por 3 meses! Antes de este viaje (que esperemos dure muchos meses más) también visitamos otros lugares en Europa, África, Asia y América juntos y por separado.

En un mundo en el que el turismo transforma, o al menos maquilla, los destinos, creemos que la mejor manera de conocer y comprender los sitios que visitamos es a través de los ojos de los locales. Además disfrutamos mucho la vida de hostel en la que compartes y conoces gente nueva cada día y coachsurfing parece reunir todo.

In a world where tourism transforms, or at least makes up destinations, we believe that the best way of getting to know and understand the places we visit is through the eyes of a local. Moreover we enjoy hostel life where you share and meet new people everyday and coachsurfing kind of brings all together.
