My name is Raquel, I'm currently working as a nurse in the UK.

I have grown up surrounded by different cultures and meeting people on all walks of life. It has made me an open minded person but mainly it's just made me appreciate spending time with different people and having fun!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because when I travel I want to meet real people! Really get to know their culture and experience how people live and enjoy life in a different country or city or anywhere!
I travel a lot by myself and have found that couch surfing is one of the best ways to meet new people and share experiences in a friendly environment.
It's the best way to meet open minded people and I have been so amazed by how interesting and interested strangers can be. In fact it's made me realise that 'strangers' don't exist :)

Interests

Travelling of course. I love to read and write. Music is a big part of my life! And dancing! Dancing is good for the soul. Hikking and being immersed in nature.
