ABOUT ME

I absolutely love asking questions, it's been the motivation behind most of my pursuits thus far. I think that honest questions are the gateway to honest connection, and what's better than a soul-chat between two individuals?
My love of questions is the motivation behind my travels, it is also the basis for my project "questioneering". I'm on a search for the intangible, and I'm happy to report: it's going quite well. I'd love to interview you if getting real appeals to you, but no pressure if its not your cup o' tea.

PHILOSOPHY

I tend to gravitate toward an "it's all wonderful" philosophy, although to be sure, I carry along ideologies worth shedding.

In short: I love to love people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently on-the-road, and I'm really excited to host once I settle into a steady location. While a place to stay is absolutely amazing, I'm also just looking to connect to individuals in the cities I visit, and cities I've yet to visit. Let's be friends!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A lot of my couchsurfing experience actually has happened independent of this website so far, making friends of friends of friends who are willing to lend me a bed for a few nights or months.

Interests

The most general answer I can give would be: creating. I love making things happen, with my mind, with my hands, my will, etc. Let's make stuff together!

Honesty expressed through communication be it verbal, physical, lyrical, visual, etc.

Writing, I would say fiction writing, but most of my fiction material draws heavily on my personal experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh my god. This is so much.

In terms of media consumption: I feel that if something moves me, to action especially, I can dig it.

I mostly love whatever I'm invested in currently, right now that is:

-learning violin gypsy jazz
-reading a book on spanish linguistics, open veins of latin america, and
-audio recording lil' treasures
-music production (which I know nothing about, but would love to know a lot about)

That's a bit idealistic, but it's what I want to feel like and so that counts for something.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've played violin for 14 years, I can teach you/your kids how to play. I've also taught music theory in the past to young 'uns.

I've got a decent base in Spanish, and French and I'm willing to assist with those two languages, as well as help English-learners develop their conversation skills.

Um, also, I have these two amaaazzzing cookbooks in my traveling library: Gran Cocina Latina, and Cookwise. Let's make something together!
