Been couchsurfing for a while now, and trying to spread CS whenever I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Vietnam/China/Mexico/India/USA. Fantastic all round. Attended a birthday dinner, had a fiesta thrown in my friends' and my honor, shown around a lot of awesome places, made some great, great friends.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Attended two Coachella Music Festivals (a great experience in itself) and got to see The Pixies, The Cure and RATM play after a very very long hiatus from performing.

Watched as Quetzalcoatl, the Plumed Serpent, descended in Chichen Itza (Mayan ruins in Merida, Mexico) on the day of the Spring Equinox.

Motorbiked 2000km from Saigon to Hanoi, and further north to the highlands. Got help from tons of awesome Vietnamese people; had to hide in H'mong village hut at one point to get away from some army officers!

Motorbiked through Leh (North India) during the most mind-bogglingly beautiful sunset ever. The sky was painted in shades of orange, pink, blue, purple, violet, every colour imaginable!

Mingled with thousands of Ladakhis in Leh, India, who were going to see the Dalai Lama deliver a lecture.

Got to see the Potala Palace with my own eyes.
