About Me
Right, where to start?
During the week I work as a "frontend web developer" which means that I do design and coding for websites, currently for a site called BoligPortal, which is a marketplace for rental homes.
I have way too many hobbies, one of which is photography, which I’ve recently gotten back into after a few years where my camera has just been gathering dust. I also really love listening to live music and discovering new artists. I've been trying to learn to play a bit myself for the past few years, most recently singing and guitar, but i also play a bit of drums and harmonica.
I really like cooking and experimenting - mostly vegetarian, even though I'm not really strictly vegetarian. I love craft beer and good coffee.
I have a habit of challenging myself to try new things, and so far it has worked out quite well. I haven't been doing a lot of traveling though, which I really want to, but I’m working on that.
Anyway, I'm a really easy-going guy, who just likes enjoying life and trying new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It just seems like the perfect way to travel. I want to travel more, meet new people and see new places.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite music is always kind of a pain to answer. I think I mostly listen to “indie” stuff, but popular artists include Future Islands, Bon Iver, Beach House and The National.
Favorite movie is also not easy to pick, so I'll just list a few off the top of my head: Children of Men, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Memento, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Anything by Quentin Tarantino, and Star Wars, obviously :)
My favorite read in recent years is probably The Martian by Andy Weir.
I should probably also mention TV shows - I absolutely love Firefly and Buffy, the first season of Heroes, True Detective, Orange is the new Black and Game of Thrones.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year I went Couchsurfing alone in Amsterdam. It was my first time ever traveling alone, and it ended up being a great trip and I met some amazing people.
