About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Malaysia, Michigan and a lot More to Occupy
ABOUT ME
A shy, somewhat tidy and organized but very interesting person to meet and talk. Keen on long conversations and gets quite excited to talk with a person of different background.
PHILOSOPHY
Always find a common ground. Although there are no two persons alike, there must be something that both of them have in common.
To understand people around me, always put myself in their shoes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf and I have just joined the Ann Arbor Couchsurfing Group. Would love to host but I don't think I can do that for now. Definitely love to host people after I have settled down in Malaysia upon graduation.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In May 2012, I surfed at three houses. Would love to go Couchcrashing very soon.
Interests
I spend my time by watching soccer (and playing terrible soccer), listening to new songs and reading books (which I would love to do but have very few time to do so). Also, I dream I could be like Samantha Brown but I just feel I can't dance, which is sad.
Other interests - getting myself lost, watching satires (The Daily Show and Colbert Report), writing.
- writing
- books
- dancing
- dining
- reading
- soccer
- cartography
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies - Definitely not the best person to ask. When it comes to watching movies, I'm way behind my friends.
Music - Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, Coldplay, Dido, Feist
Books - Nearly all Mitch Albom's. Only have read one Ian McEwan (looking forward to read more).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- A person who is not a Malaysian but knows so much more about Malaysia than I do. (I'm a Malaysian. I can imagine myself seeing some people starting to look at Google Maps).
- Get amazing food from the food stalls in the weekly night market (Can I get this outside of Malaysia? Haha)
- Can understand people talking to a language that I know very few of it.
Countries I’ve Visited
Bahrain, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand
Countries I’ve Lived In
Malaysia, United States
