ABOUT ME

Romain studies in university to be a french teacher for foreign people (he could use you as a guinea pig)and Sarah is looking for a job in cultural communication (send your offers ;) ) We both like cultural things like museums, music, books, art. We love to travel with couchsurfing, hitchhicking and going where the wind takes us ! For two years we used to have a road trip for the new year evening, we visited Luxembourg, Köln and Brussels and last year it was Amsterdam.

I surfed on a lot of couch and always enjoy my stay really much. I met very nice and interesting people, discovered many cities( not that much, it'll never be enough)and had great experiences.

I hosted too in my former flat and it was always a real pleasure (even if I was always confuse to show my city which was Le Havre in Normandy ... I never understand why people wanted to visit it -french people will understand)

Interests

Romain likes to watch football games, drink beer and be drunk. Sarah likes poneys, kitties, and all swetty things like that. She also likes to put ribbons in her hairs and dress like a princess. Romain also likes fit a 500 piece puzzle set when he's to tired.

We both like jazz and pop-rock music, also a little bit classic music : Gypsy jazz, Hard Bop, Free jazz sometimes, The Kinks, Beatles, 60-70's rock (Hendrix, Joplin, etc. Charlie Parker is (a) god. Sarah likes electro music and reggae too. Nina Simone, Otis Redding, Bill Withers.

Books: Nicolas Bouvier, Jack Kerouac, north-american litterature, Boris Vian, poetry (Eluard, Vallejo, Tzara), philosophy ...

Art: cubic artists, modern art, expressionisme, futurisme, and all in "-ism" since 1900.
