ABOUT ME

I have come to Berlin in order to escape Ireland for a while and to learn German. I finished college last year and after a year working in a hospital I felt it was time to flee my comfort zone and check out another part of the world. I'm also a qualified English teacher so if anyone would like to help me practice my German I could help them improve their English.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I have only just arrived in Berlin and as I am living in a three bedroom flat with six other people I can't really offer anyone a couch at the moment but I am available to drink copious amounts of coffee.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The only similar experience I've had was in a school exchange with a guy from Bayern when I was 16. Sad really but I want to explore the rest of Germany so hope to get around through the use of CS:

Interests

I like to play go and chess but I'm bad at both. I enjoy swimming and running my other sporting pursuits include football, ultimate frisbee and table tennis. I can pump out a couple of indie rock classics on the guitar, but would love to be able to play the trumpet. I also juggle but I've been hit by the five ball slump but recently got a contact ball and I'm really enjoying this form of juggling without throwing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - I can't wait for the transformers movie
Books - I read pretty much anything but alot of fantasy and I have an impressive colloectiopn of the Hobbit in 6 different languages.
Music - The whole spectrum from dirty techno to traditional Irish.
