Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I like a little of everything. I've also been in bands. Movies: Don't watch too many. Books: lately I've been studying Daf Yomi for the first time, so this hasn't left time for many other books. But I've been an extensive reader my entire life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've seen or done in my lifetime? That's a big question. I'll just pick my favorite place: Cape Flattery in Neah Bay, WA, on the Macaw Indian Reservation. It's the most Northwestern place in the contiguous United States. You look down from the cliffs of terrifying height and see ocean crashing into the rocks below as if the Earth was being created all over again. And since I believe the world is created new each day, as per the Baal Shem Tov, it is truly my favorite spot to experience that spiritual emotion. You truly feel as if you are at the beginning of time in that place.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn modern Hebrew. I'd love to teach you some of my niggunim (wordless melodies) and how to cook the delicious kosher food items of your choice--I'm quite the cook and baker. I do make a mean challah and I would happily share the recipe
