Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has always been my preferred way of traveling. Even if I don't actually stay in someone's home, I like to have friends in the city where I'm visiting :)
I prefer the hybrid status between a tourist and a local because I want to see the real beauty of the place; the actual reason why it's special.
Only someone who lives there and who cares about your experience will be able to give you the best tips, and even share some of the experience with you. That is priceless!

On the other hand, I enjoy having guests over. I like curious people who don't want to waste time at home, and go out and explore instead. I love it when my guests say: "I never heard about this place in Saint Petersburg!"
