Energetic youth swimming in the pool of life

I came to Europe a few months ago to interview for positions in my field (Information Technology). I'm honestly not much of a 'computer guy', I would say more of a 'knows how to google things and likes the money to funnel back into my art' kind of guy.

I love music! I would consider myself an artist, I spend a lot of time thinking about all art :)

Interests

Music! I play the typical 'rock' instruments (guitar, bass, drums, keyboard) as well produce music on the computer and general songwriting composition. I brought a Sampler with me on this trip and it has been amazing! If you don't know what a sampler is you should definitely google it (90% of every rap/hip-hop song has been made with a sampler).

I have always had a fascination with art. I like to exist outside of the rigid structures put in place by others, art allows me to remain fluid. There is no right way to paint a picture, take a photograph or compose a song. Art is the embodiment of freedom!

Other than that, I enjoy sincere discussions about anything and everything. I don't have many strong opinions in life. Instead, I prefer listening to others to understand what they may be thinking and feeling.

My favorite book I have ever read is Of Mice and Men. It is the most emotionally compelling piece of literature I have read, tears fall as I type.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Coming to Europe! It was a bit of a terrifying thing to face at first. Drop everything you are doing, leave your comfortable and generous surroundings, sell all your belongings. It has been the best decision I have ever made.

Teach, Learn, Share

Music! I can teach you some chords (although I don't know the names). Learning how to create music is about learning how to let go and to trust your wild instincts.

I would like to learn what the meaning of life is, besides 42.
