About Me

CURRENT MISSION

shape my life in a way that it takes me all over the world. I do not want to visit different places, I want to live different places!!

ABOUT ME

I would say I am quite open minded and very easy going. I really am capable of enjoying being with almost anyone anywhere as long as there is a good conversation.
Kindness and patience are some of my weaknesses. Cooking and keeping a high spirit are some of my strengths.

PHILOSOPHY

I personally believe that life is worth just in the measure that you make it worthy. If you sit down and wait, your life most likely will have very little to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While living in Madrid, my flatmates and I hosted a lot of people during 3 years. Some of those encounters have evolved into nice friendships, some where "only" amazing experiences.
I hope I can enjoy some of that again. So be welcome!

Interests

Thing number one: meeting interesting and open minded people. There is some much to learn from anyone you meet on your way, no matter the culture or religion, as long as we are willing to hear.
Thing number two: travelling to different cultures. If possible moving my home and living in other cultures.
Thing number three: music, live if possible!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite bands at the moment have to be: Les Cowboys Fringants, The Decemberists, The Rural Alberta Advantage, Orishas, Jonah Smith, Jamie Cullum, Chet Baker. What I usually enjoy the most is either something that sooths my soul, like jazz, or something that really moves my body, like Les Cowboys or The Rural Alberta Advantage.
As for books, I have never read anything better than John Irving: Prayer for Owen Meany or Hotel New Hampshire. Devastating!
If you want to take me to the cinema, it better be some special or strange film. It has to have something, like Woody Allen's or Tarantino's.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When we meet ask me about that time when I got lost at night in the streets of Dakar...

Countries I’ve Visited

Countries I’ve Lived In
