ABOUT ME

I am cool. Just ask my mom.
I like almost everything about where I'm from. I like riding my bike and going to the beach in summer. I like having bonfires in the fall. I am a big fan of winter, even when it gets super cold and my car won't start. Spring is always pretty, and is normally quite welcome by the end of a harsh winter. I go camping and canoeing with friends, play shows with my metal band PumaHunter, and hang out with my girlfriend. Manitoba is a pretty cool place to be, though it is a little flat and fairly barren of tourists.
All that being said, I've loved pretty well everywhere I've traveled to. Virtually every different place I've been leaves me with a desire to return someday. This is one of the reasons I decided to travel to Romania to live in Transylvania and work on my thesis for University. So far it's been a blast.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to metal, and some rock and (older) jazz.
I read primarily fantasy or old sword & sorcery books. I like sci-fi and horror as well.
I like a wide variety of movies. What I watch depends on my mood. I like cartoons a lot as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gone to Bolivia and got my butt kicked at soccer (football!) by the locals.
