I'm a 20-something year old, recent graduate, avoiding the trap of "real life". I'm sometimes quiet, I sometimes can't shut up, and I tend to go with the flow.

I write stories. Some are true, some aren't.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer my drama films German, my romantic films French, my beautiful films Kenyan, and my funny films American. I have a long list of favorite movies with detailed notes, if you'd like to see it just let me know.

I'm either listening to music live or as I'm falling asleep (so my iTunes tends to be slow and boring). I like Jazz. I like Jazz singers. I like soul. I like hip hop. I like alternative. I like chilled out reggae. I like anything that tells a story.

I enjoy reading Toni Morrison Paul Beatty, Junot Diaz, James Baldwin and Sylvia Plath. Always looking for a good new book/author.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favorite life experience is probably the first time I attended a protest while living in Athens, Greece. The inspiration, unity, and atmosphere was something unparalleled to anything else I've experienced.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can offer some photography skills and friendly debates on politics and ideologies. I can also share my writing.

I'm always looking for new inspiration for art, a new book to read, and a new friend to make.
