ABOUT ME

I was born and raised on the edge of a large village, where my childhood pastimes included cycling and climbing trees and I still enjoy doing both. I love to travel and especially going woofing and doing/learning new things
I try to do what I can to help the environment, and I’m currently trying to tame my garden and grow veg.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm like to travel, meet new people and connect with like minded people in my area. Hopefully later I will also be able to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm fairly inexperienced at couch surfing. However once when I had missed a ferry in the Western Isles, I was taken in, given a meal and bed for the night by a local couple, who had seen me while they were otter watching. That was back in 1986, I have since had a number of experiences where the kindness and hospitality of people to a complete stranger has surprised and enchanted me each and every time.

I collect sunrises, I have seen some of the most incredible sunrises from amazing places.
