ABOUT ME

I'm a woman obsessed with food and cooking. It's both my passion and my career. I laugh easy, laugh hard and love to share in life's experience with others. I call Portland home and take great pride in our regional identity, but I adore stepping foot into others' worlds. In fact, I've lived all over the world. My adventurous spirit and resourcefulness has made traveling rich and friendships diverse. I am, above all, respectful and always sincere. My job takes me on the road often, and the subject matter is always food and community. My goal is to truly experience a place and its people while I'm visiting and to give back equally in return.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently, I am able to act as an ambassador and friend for guests visiting my beloved Portland. I live in a one bedroom apartment and work from the living/dining room, so hosting can only take place in the future. I'm available to physically spend time with guests on the weekends and I'm always open to providing support and advice.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was tuned in to CouchSurfing by my good friends who host. They recently hosted a couple from Korea by way of Hong Kong. We all spent an evening together in great company, sharing authentic food and hilarious stories. I was inspired.

I would love to share my cooking skills with others and learn from them as well. I have a vast knowledge of traditions in American food and farming and am generous in teaching others. I'm also fluent in Spanish. I hope to learn more about regional food traditions.
