I was born in India. While I spent most of my early life in Delhi, India's capital, I work mostly in the Silk City of Surat - which is much further west.

I like to meet new people and learn about different culture.
Like standup comedy, dive bars, try new things twice (first experience can go wrong)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I look forward to meeting CS members in the country, whether living there or just passing through. I speak good English, passable Mandarin and very little French, so hopefully can communicate with a lot of people around the world :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Its the most wonderful thing this world needs now. I don't think any other site or organisation teaches you to trust someone to fullest extent other than couchsurfing.

Music: Classic Rock (Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, The Who), Bollywood music-70's Rock, 80's music (Duran Duran, Wham, Blondie, Culture Club and so on..)
Books: Hitchhikers guide & anything by Douglas Adams, lots of sci-fi authors: Asimov, Clarke, Larry Niven, Robert Heinlin, Ray Bradbury. Some old humorists such as Wodehouse, Jerome K. Jerome.

Anyone looking for Hindi lessons ? I'm also a decent cook, so can share traditional Indian cooking recipes for those interested.
