About Me
Hey, fellow travelers!☺️
Namaskar 🙏
I’m Ravi, a curious soul who loves exploring new places, cultures, and ideas. I’ve been traveling for a few years, and each adventure has left me richer in experiences and friendships. My favorite part about traveling? The stories. Whether it’s sharing travel tales over coffee or learning from locals about their unique customs, I’m always ready for a good chat!
By day, I’m a Research Scholar, but on the road, I’m a foodie, an amateur photographer, and a curious learner. I enjoy meaningful conversations, whether they’re about world politics or the best local hidden spots to visit.
I’m laid-back, respectful, and believe that kindness and laughter go a long way in life. Whether you’re hosting or we’re crossing paths at some point, I’m always eager to share experiences and help in any way I can.
Looking forward to connecting, swapping stories, and making memories that go beyond just sightseeing! Cheers to new friendships and spontaneous adventures!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe travel is about more than just visiting new places—it’s about connecting with people, sharing cultures, and creating unforgettable memories. Couchsurfing gives me the chance to meet locals, learn about their way of life, and see the world from a different perspective. I love the idea of exchanging stories, experiences, and a bit of myself with others while discovering new destinations. Whether I’m hosting or being hosted, I enjoy fostering meaningful connections that enrich my journey and make every trip more authentic and memorable.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m a fan of thought-provoking films like Inception and The Shawshank Redemption. My music taste is eclectic, ranging from classic rock to soulful indie tracks. When it comes to books, I enjoy diving into psychology, with favorites like Man’s Search for Meaning or Psychoanalysis of Sigmund Freud and Thinking, Fast and Slow.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I’ve done is hike to the top of Kedarkantha Peak, where I camped under the stars and watched the sunrise over the horizon. It was a breathtaking moment of peace and accomplishment, reminding me how beautiful and vast the world truly is.
Teach, Learn, Share
वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम
I’m always happy to teach anyone who’s interested and enjoy exchanging ideas in a relaxed way!
I’m eager to learn about new cultures, languages, and perspectives. Whether it’s mastering a local recipe, learning about your favorite travel spots, or picking up a few words in your language, I’m always up for expanding my horizons.
I love sharing travel stories, good food, and meaningful conversations.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my travel stories, good vibes, and a genuine curiosity for new experiences. I enjoy cooking, so I’d be happy to prepare a meal from my home country or try something local together. I can also help with language practice, or just good company over coffee or a walk around the city. I’m always ready to lend a hand, whether it’s sharing interesting conversations, offering insights into my own culture, or simply being a respectful guest who leaves things better than found.
