CURRENT MISSION

See the world, show the world. For nearly two years (2020 to 2022), I had changed my hosting options to "Maybe Accepting Guests" but today (July) I have got back to "Accepting Guests". Everybody is welcome. I like hosting and meeting people, preferably couples, families and ladies.

ABOUT ME
That's asking too much. You are expecting me to blow my trumpet. Social, loving, helpful, friendly, outgoing, partying. My wife is my best friend.
Member of Lions Clubs International. Became a Member in 2007, served as a Secretary and President of the Club, moved on to become the Zone/Region Chairperson and finally the Cabinet Secretary in the District. However, I gave up my Membership in 2017. I feel it is essential for a person to serve the humanitarian needs, we need to give back to the society whatever best we can. Under the Lions International Youth Exchange Camp Programme my elder son has visited Germany, Texas, Finland, Netherlands and Denmark while the younger son has visited Iowa and Finland. We too have hosted children from Czech Republic, Hungary and Finland.

My wife and I also are well-travelled having visited places like, Mauritius, Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Italy, Spain, Tunisia, Rome, Venice, Paris, Greece, Sri Lanka, Canada, Israel, Jordan, Egypt. Our latest travel to Argentine and Antartica (in 2023) were simply a long cherished dream come true.

PHILOSOPHY

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Will like to host couples (with/without children) only, preferably willing to host us as well if we some time decide to visit their country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is a wonderful experience. We have hosted about two dozen guests from different countries. It is a great platform to interact and understand different cultures.I have come to understand that the world is a global family. We all share the same emotions. I like chatting with people, exchanging experiences. It will be appreciated if the Guest volunteers to prepare his/her favourite cuisine once.

My wife and I have surfed in Athens, Crete, Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa. Our most recent CS experience has been staying at Buenos Aires (Argentina) with Mario. All our stays have been memorable experiences.
