ABOUT ME

I am currently working on my PhD at the Delft University of Technology. I am doing photovoltaic research with solar cells. I love meeting new people and traveling around cheaply. I am really interested in sustainable agriculture and other environmental concerns. I am a vegan and love cooking and eating amazing vegan food.

I also play ultimate frisbee semi-seriously and my biggest passion is music. I play drums and guitar and am always up for playing and listening to all kinds of music with all kinds of people.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in living life while doing as little harm to other beings as possible. This means pursuing a personal life of non-violence and trying to help make sure that we as a society move towards a more just and peaceful world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I assisted the Bangkok Refugee Center in Thailand. Along with three other students, I created a computer literacy course that empowered refugees to help find information about being relocated to a country where they had more refugee rights. Three years later they are still using it and it is still helping many refugees there.
