I think even the most luxurious hotel cannot beat a simple, honest sofa and a welcoming company. It is about sharing generosity; to give without expecting anything in return.
Always happy to meet like minded people that appreciate sharing time, inspirations and lifestories. Professionally I'm a cabin crew and often visit places all round the globe.
Stay is not an issue for me as that is provided by my company. I always welcome a travel partner who can show me around the place as a traveler not a tourist and vice versa.
