Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Good time for a sabbatical.
ABOUT ME
I can be a rather outgoing individual who enjoys new things whether that is people, places or things. I work in a professional setting and I also find myself currently a student again. Planning on travelling to South America in 2012 can’t wait.
PHILOSOPHY
Education is a life long past time. Family and friends are everything. 80 years is not really a long time make the most of it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I've chatted with a few people and more recently I hosted a guest from Brazil. What a great expeience. When I travel to South America next year I hope to meet locals through couch surfing. I want to get away from the more global perspective and meet the real people of South America. I am hoping couch surfing can help me do this.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No longer a newbie, slowly getting my profile done and hosted my first guest from Brazil. It was a great experience and I certainly will do it again. I have upgraded my self to an intermediate surfer.
Interests
For me life is all about the experience. Travel of course, friends and family especially my daughter, food one of life’s great pleasures, sports, reading, writing, politics and religion are always a good debate as long as it remains respectful, music, dance and fun times must be part of the equation.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Kill Bill 1 & 2 anything Quenton Tarantino. All the Marvel Comic movies for sure. And so much more.
Music: Oh my almost anything depends on my frame of mind. Most listended to would be Pop, Jazz, Classical, and I quite enjoy the sounds and beats that the younger generation are creating.
Last Three books read:
Mister B. Gone - Clive Barker
Steppenwolf - Hermann Hesse
The Empathic Civilization - Jeremy Rifkin
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My breath freezing at -53 in Elsa Yukon, January 1989. The sound of the snow crucnhing as one walked has always remained with me. It seemed like everything was brittle.
Teach, Learn, Share
I will share any knowledge I have gained in my time and would love to pick your brain about your experiences. I can help with english and can use help with spanish.
