Hey there, I am a student from Colorado pursuing my PhD in cognitive neuroscience. I absolutely love traveling, adventure, science, and learning as I see those as some of the fundamental pillars of personal growth.
I like to think that I am an easy going person that likes to discuss ideas and learn about other peoples stories and aspirations.

Personal Philosophy:

Exploring different cultures is one of the fascinating experiences humanity has to offer. There are 7.5 billion people in a world repeat with Neuro, spiritual, and cultural diversity. Having the ability to meet people with a different experience is one of the most rewarding experiences in life and travel happens to be the best way to do that!
The general consensus is that humans have been around in our current form for around 250,000 years. It is amazing that humans have been able to grow at an exponential rate and become a global species in such a short amount of time. Further, it is incredible that we have been able to progress technologically to the point that we can now consider space travel. Right now is the best possible time to be alive; not only have we become a global species, we have the means to travel and explore the remote regions of the world that people 50 years ago would have been unable to see. Personally, this fills me with reverence.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Many choose to stay in luxurious hotels and enjoy the amenities when they travel. Personally, I prefer to use Couchsurfer when I travel because it allows me to better understand an area. Location is only a small portion of what makes a nation unique, nature and people make up then rest of the variance, neither of which can truly be experienced in toutest destinations. By using Couchsurfer, I have learned more about cultures and life than I could have learned independently! Further, I have met some of the most amazing people and some of my best friends this way. The world is large and it is an honor for me to be able to see!

Also, my ability to speak other languages is relatively feeble. I do believe however, that technology and perseverance can bridge any language barrier!

I am open minded to exploring most things however, there are a few things that I really love; One of which is traveling. When I am home, I very much enjoy music of all types! My playlists consist heavily of piano and Electronic Dance Music. Other than that, I can typically found reading, writing, or watching some lecture on YouTube. I like to learn new things so anything that can assist me on that quest is something that interests me.
