About Me
Hi, I’m Jeremy — an Aries from Taiwan, and this is my very first time trying Couchsurfing.
I’ve just closed a three-year chapter working as an architectural designer, and decided it’s time to step away from my desk, slow down, and explore the world in a more personal way.
I love cooking — to me, sharing a warm homemade meal with friends or new travel buddies always feels more memorable than any souvenir.
Running is another big part of my life. I’ve completed several half marathons, and my dream is to finish all Seven World Marathon Majors. One day, I hope to combine my passions and start “run-traveling” — exploring new cities and landscapes on foot.
I’m also passionate about photography, especially shooting on film. I enjoy capturing moments that turn into small treasures when developed — each frame holding a bit of surprise.
For me, travel isn’t just about checking off landmarks. It’s about meeting people, exchanging laughter, and sharing everyday warmth. I believe every step of a journey should be walked with your own feet — whether it’s running through a city, wandering quiet streets, or hiking to a hidden viewpoint. The same goes for my photography, especially shooting on film: every frame is earned by being there, in the moment, and seeing the world through my own eyes.
If you’re up for it, I’d love to bring a little taste of Taiwan, my camera, and my running shoes to your home — and leave behind footprints and gratitude in your city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I just left a job I’ve been in for three years as an architectural designer, and I wanted to do something different before jumping into the next chapter. This is my first time trying Couchsurfing, and I love the idea of experiencing a place through the people who live there. For me, travel isn’t only about visiting attractions — it’s about sharing meals, swapping stories, and getting those little everyday moments you can’t find in a guidebook. I think Couchsurfing is the perfect way to make those moments happen.

Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing what I know, whether it’s a recipe from Taiwan or tips on how to enjoy film photography.
At the same time, I’m eager to learn from you — whether it’s your culture, your favorite running routes, or stories about your hometown. Every person I meet is a chance to see the world through new eyes.
I believe travel is all about exchange — teaching, learning, and sharing moments that turn strangers into friends. I’m excited to be part of that with you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m happy to share good conversation, a warm smile, and maybe even a home-cooked meal inspired by Taiwanese flavors. I love cooking and believe food is a great way to connect and tell stories. I’m also always up for a run or a walk around your neighborhood — it’s my way of exploring and appreciating new places. Plus, I bring my film camera along, so if you’re into photography or just want to see the world through a different lens, I’d be glad to share some moments and photos with you.
