I am a people person. I like variety & diversity. My friendships are a tapestry of diversity. I was married for 15 1/2 years. I have 4 children & 1 grandson. I have owned 2 businesses. My last position I was Regional Sales Director for a non profit retirement plan for the public sector(city governments) for 10 years. I have been blessed to go back to grad school & seminary now after a full career. I have lived fully. I am 54 but in my mind still 35. My daughters wonder if their Dad will ever grow up. I am an out & proud gay Christian Dad & G'pa & future United Church of Christ Minister.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled on a med cruise Barcelona, Rome, Monaco, Nice, Greek Isles Mykonnos, Naples Italy, Isle of Capri Italy, Crete.........When raising my kids & in marriage only family vacations except a trip to Aruba won by one of my insurance companies I represented in my insurance consulting practice. As a Single Adult participated in several oversees mission projects. Grace Children's Hospital, Port Au Prince, Haiti, Dominican Republic & Honduras doing relief work. and special community outreach projects.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a nice size 1 bedroom apt. in Woodlawn\Hyde Park/ University of Chicago area. I have a comfortable overstuffed sofa. I also have a queen size air mattress. I overlook the Logan Art Center at the University of Chicago. I am in walking distance to Lake Michigan, Lake Shore Drive parks, Museums at Univ Chicago & Museum of Science & Industry. Hyde Park is a newly historic place as it is the Chicago home of President & First Lady Obama.
