我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I grew up couch surfing.. as a kid my room got too cold so every winter I'd migrate to the couch where it was warmer.
This past summer I made a drastic move (literally) that didn't work out and I have been bouncing from couch to couch trying to pick up the pieces and move forward. It has been a liberating experience.. freeing me from my "stuff", conditioning me to appreciate my "space", giving me joy in the little things of life again. Especially the kindness of others... cause without them.. I'd be living in my storage unit! lol

兴趣

I love nature, animals, outdoorsy stuff. I love games... intellectual or skilled.. be it pool, darts, othello, tetris or simply solitare. I like travelling and meeting interesting people.. the way I see it everyone has a story to tell... just not everyone listens.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I hung out with a homeless guy in San Francisco named Cowboy. It was one wild adventure... he scared me at first, but I was lost and buying him french fries offered me a way back to the trolley. I couldn't shake him (he even paid for his own trolley ride when I refused to!) We ended up bonding over a poem ("Solitude" by Ella Wheeler Wilcox) and had a blast. The cops thought I was a runaway when they saw me with him!!
