I'm from the USA and I currently live just outside Detroit, but previously lived in North Carolina (Raleigh) and in Virginia (just outside Washington DC). I recently decided that I need to take time off my career to pursue travel and my interest in archaeological sites.

I'm hoping to connect with my Italian and German heritage on my trip by visiting my ancestral cities.
