Overview
About Me
I’m an Iranian living in Slovakia with an academic background in painting, philosophy, and social sciences. I’m deeply interested in history, especially through books and films, and I’m someone who genuinely loves learning — new ideas, new perspectives, and new ways of living.
Moving to Eastern Europe brought me an unexpected “reverse culture shock.” Instead of feeling distant from the culture, I was surprised by the similarities I discovered. That experience made me even more curious about how history and identity shape everyday life.
I enjoy painting, hiking, long walks, cooking, and meaningful conversations. I’m thoughtful, respectful, and truly interested in connecting with people in an authentic way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, being part of Couchsurfing is about learning through human connection.
I would love to experience life not as a tourist, but from inside a home — through shared meals, daily routines, and real conversations. I’m curious to understand how history, memory, and culture shape everyday German life.
